RADIOGRAPHY: Radiological Examination is carried out with Vatech Pax Reve 3D x-ray machine (3-in-1) imaging system, which gives digital Panorex, 3D CT images of teeth and jaws and also cephalograms. Thus, we can have comprehensive radiological examination of the teeth, jaws and surrounding structures. This gives us a lot of information for diagnosis and treatment planning at lowest possible radiation in dental imaging.

RESTORATIVE SERVICES:

After your comprehensive Oral Examinations we will create a comprehensive dental treatment plan especially for you to improve and maintain your oral health. Dr. Maulik Nanavati and our team will explain the plan so that you can make informed decisions about your oral care.

DENTAL CARIES MANAGEMENT: After thorough decay removal your tooth can be filled with tooth colored composite resin fillings.

TOOTH RESTORATIONS: For badly decayed tooth which cannot be repaired by simple fillings we offer you crowns made from zirconia or lithium disilicate which are monolithic structures and strongest ones available in the country.

SURGICAL SERVICES

We routinely carry out Oral Surgical Procedures like removal of an impacted wisdom tooth, apicoectomy, alveloplasty, removal of benign growths, periodontal surgeries, biopsies and others at our dental office.

TOOTH EXTRACTIONS: We carry out both routine and complex extractions of teeth like surgical removal of teeth by opening the gums.

RE-IMPLANTATION OF AVULSED TOOTH: This is an emergency treatment carried out when tooth is accidentally avulsed out of socket. Re-implantation of avulsed tooth can be carried out if tooth is brought to dental office within a half an hour.

GINGIVAL TREATMENTS: Surgical treatments like gingivoplasty, gingivectomy, periodontal flap

BIOPSY: Biopsies are carried out if any suspicious lesion is detected in the mouth during the routine oral examination with Identafi 3000.

SLEEP DENTISTRY:

Sleep apnea is characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep.

These often last long enough to where one or more breaths are missed repeatedly throughout sleep.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is the most common category of sleep-disordered breathing. The muscle tone of the body ordinarily relaxes during sleep. And since, at the level of the throat, the human airway is composed of walls of soft tissue which can collapse. It is easy to understand why breathing can become obstructed during sleep. Mild, occasional sleep apnea, such as many people experience during an upper respiratory infection, may not be important. However, chronic, severe obstructive sleep apnea requires treatment to prevent sleep deprivation and other complications. The most serious complication is a severe form of congestive heart failure called cor pulmonale.

ORAL APPLIANCE THERAPY (OAT): The oral appliance is a custom-made mouthpiece that shifts the lower jaw forward, which opens up the airway.

OAT is usually successful in patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.

A dental implant is actually a replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like tooth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed. They are used to secure crowns (the parts of teeth seen in the mouth), bridgework or dentures by a variety of means. They are made of titanium, which is lightweight, strong and biocompatible, which means that it is not rejected by the body. Titanium and titanium alloys are the most widely used metals in both dental and other bone implants, such as orthopedic joint replacements. Dental implants have the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device.

TMD AND ORO-FACIAL PAIN MANAGEMENT:

Do you have pain in your face, jaw, or teeth? Do you have trouble chewing? Does your jaw make clicking or popping noises? These symptoms can be caused by temporomandibular disorders (TMD). This term describes a group of problems related to the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and nearby muscles. TMD-related problems include: tight muscles, joint inflammation, joint damage, and teeth grinding (bruxing) or clenching. We can advise you about treatment options such as diet changes, medication, therapy and dental appliances designed to reduce pressure on the joint.
